What Reddit says about SwitchBot

Redditors tend to see SwitchBot as an innovative smart-home brand offering capable robot vacuums, but with some trade-offs in navigation and software consistency. Its strengths include automation, smart-home integration, and competitive features, while its weaknesses depend on the specific model. Buyers should compare model-specific owner reviews and check warranty coverage before purchasing, particularly if reliability and hands-off cleaning are their top priorities.

“If you have a place about 1200 sq ft or less, SwitchBot k11+ was the cheapest I found that allows full control in HomeKit. It’s smaller, and a little slower, but it is also more careful and gets into tighter spaces, so imo does a better job. I don’t even use the mop feature, it’s just wet wipes lol You can find it on sale for about $200, and if you use automations to clean different rooms at the times you are not in those rooms, you won’t notice it being slower anyway. The one thing I didn’t like about it at first is how quickly the bags get full, like 30-45 days, but I’ve just resorted to emptying them to get the full 90 days use out of each bag.”

“I have a switchbot and it’s decent. Def overpriced though , which is why I got it 70% off on OfferUp instead of new”
