What Reddit says about Lefant

Redditors tend to view Lefant as a budget-friendly brand for basic floor cleaning rather than a premium robot vacuum option. Its main strengths are affordability and compact size, while its weaknesses are limited navigation, fewer smart features, and potentially inconsistent performance. It may work for small homes with mostly hard floors, but buyers with pets, carpets, or complex room layouts should compare specific models carefully before purchasing.

“If this is the options you have, get one with lidar. Lefant is the one with lidar based on these.”

“On a tighter budget and mostly hard floors a slim puck does the job, like this lefant one, it slides under sofas and has a simple app. Don't forget to set a daily schedule, throw a couple no-go zones where it snags, swap filters and side brushes on a calendar. That routine will prob extend it's life by a lot.”

“I agree that the information is just hype. I did extensive research and settled on the Lefant M3, I have 2 dogs and my apartment has never been this clean. If I had more carpet I would have got the Lefant M3 Max but mine is all LVP. Watch some you tube videos about this unit. It has many higher end features but not at a higher end price.”

“You might look into LeFant - I got a basic one for around $100 on Amazon after watching something on YT. It does not have rollers, only a strong vacuum.”

“I bought a cheap one to try the concept- I didn’t know how it would work with my dog. The biggest problem I found was that it was always getting stuck. I would come home from work and have to find it because if I didn’t get it back on the charger, it would start beeping in the middle of the night when the battery got low. It got stuck on the high transition pieces I have between my entry and living room and the living room and kitchen. In the case of the kitchen, it would also wedge itself under the cabinet overhang on top of the transition piece. It would also get wedged under one of the bars on the pullout sofa in the guest room. Getting stuck in the chords underneath the couch was another problem. What I learned from this is I would definitely get a smarter one next time where you can map out your house and restrict areas. The debris also has to be dumped frequently, so how much dirt it can hold or having a canister at its home station to empty it into are other things to consider. Mine was a Lefant that I picked up for $80 on Amazon.”
