“Did a bunch of research, just ordered a PC with them through Newegg (I had giftcards) because it was a great deal. They were incredibly well reviewed. All over the Internet.”From thread: Andromeda insights review ↗
“Once in a while everyone has a bad experience with a company. I just got my computer built through them and had to cancel my order the first time too so there are a few things I don't get. First thing is that $100 fee, I never was told that by them and it was a really easy process. Second is all that stuff your saying about third party needing your information. It doesn't make too much sense for them to do that unless you didn't buy directly through them. Maybe showing the conversations themselves would help make things more clear. I absolutely love my computer and was happy with the customer service, only complaint was the wait time.”From thread: Andromeda insights review ↗
“I doubled the RAM and the hard drive size on it, and mine has an RTX 5080. Loving it so far. It took forever to get it, but worth it.”From thread: Anyone have any info on Andromeda Insights Prebuilds? ↗
“If you do buy one, buy it through their website for sure instead of Amazon. Since they're an Oregon business, you pay no sales tax. The $50 shipping is more than covered. I got a 9800x3D/9070xt combo with 4TB of SSD instead of 1 and it was about that price, but I saved over $200 in taxes! Ended up being barely more than if I built it myself and comes with warranties, totally worth the miniscule price bump for labor and those warranties! I ordered yesterday so I'm playing the waiting game now.”From thread: Anyone have any info on Andromeda Insights Prebuilds? ↗
“I know I'm late to this thread, but wanted add my experience, since I took some time shopping around and reading reviews (including this thread) prior to deciding on buying through AI. I ended up getting an AI Elite Vector 50, it has a Ryzen 9800x3d CPU and an RTX 5070 ti. I sent a few messages to their customer support prior to purchasing and got very quick responses, even on weekends. After ordering I got my PC in just over two weeks. PC was very well packaged. I priced out the individual parts on Newegg and I couldn't have built it cheaper myself. Plus I live in WA state and my sales tax is 9%. AI is out of Oregon so they don't charge sales tax, that alone saved me almost $180. I would highly recommend AI to anyone looking for a prebuilt PC.”From thread: Anyone have any info on Andromeda Insights Prebuilds? ↗
“Just bought a 5090 prebuilt. Great customer service no matter the time. Super responsive and helpful. Would definitely buy from them again. This is my first prebuilt. I typically build my own but can’t find a 5090 around me.”From thread: Anyone have any info on Andromeda Insights Prebuilds? ↗
“After a lot of research and hemming and hawing, I pulled the trigger on an AI custom build on the 6th. I can tell you they’ve been extremely helpful on the customer service side and have absolutely gone out of their way to ensure that my build goes exactly the way I want. They even went as far as to snap pictures of the build in progress last week. So far, my experience has matched their incredibly favorable reputation. A tracking number was created with UPS over the weekend, so I’m hoping it ships out today/tomorrow. I plan to make a full post when I get everything up and running.”From thread: Anyone have any info on Andromeda Insights Prebuilds? ↗
“I have never heard a bad thing about Andromeda insights. They have very high reviews on Jawa.”From thread: Anyone have any info on Andromeda Insights Prebuilds? ↗
“I was on the same boat as you, it take a little longer than expected due to them being backed up from many orders, not a deal breaker. I received mine a few days ago, I had placed mine early June. Truly worth the wait”From thread: Is Andromeda Insights real and legit ↗
“I ordered the Spectra 7800x3d/5070/32gb/2tb on Feb23 and received it Apr1. Great machine and performing like a beast. Resident Evil was included and looked fantastic. Just got Crimson Desert and it’s great so far also. My daily games are WoW/Hearthstone and Dune and they are maxed on graphics. Although the wait was 5 weeks, for my first prebuilt bc components are so much more expensive, I’d order from them again.”From thread: Is Andromeda Insights real and legit ↗
“Solid company.”From thread: Is Andromeda Insights real and legit ↗
“They are very real and legit. Great customer service. They let me make upgrades after I placed my order, with items not listed on their custom build site. It took awhile to get, sure, but it was so worth the wait. The build is clean and solid. Runs great and benchmarked on nomad well. I saved good money choosing them for a custom build.”From thread: Is Andromeda Insights real and legit ↗
“I bought my Pc from them back in November and I've been pretty happy. Their support is second to none”From thread: Is Andromeda Insights real and legit ↗

“Got my PC from Andromeda Insights and it’s wonderful. Customer service is great too. I had a couple of questions before it shipped that they answered quickly and nicely. You have to wait a bit, but it’s worth it. I’d definitely recommend”From thread: Is Andromeda Insights real and legit ↗
“Just arrived today! Everything went smooth and the PC is just as great as i hope it would be! Case feels i credible solid and everything appears to be really well built. Cable management is excellent (at least from front side) and setup was as simple as screwing on the 2 wifi antennae and then following the windows setup prompts! My AIO was a little noisy at first (ASRock challenger 360) but after it ran for about 5 minutes the noise stopped. It sounded like bubbles just circulating through the system due to being shuffled during shipping. Overall super happy”From thread: Is Andromeda Insights real and legit ↗

“Andromeda Insights prebuilts usually avoid having any sales tax applied to them, too. Not sure how they do it, but they’ve been doing it for a while. So depending where you are in the states… that can be a difference of over $200+ additional cost overall. Outside of having a MicroCenter local to you, and snagging a PowerSpec prebuilt… Andromeda Insights seems to be giving the best bang for your buck these days with prebuilts. They use name brand and quality components… no proprietary or bottom-barrel parts that a lot of other prebuilt companies are notorious for.”From thread: Overdue for a new PC. “I second andromeda insights. I haven’t received mine yet, but I custom built so I know what parts I’m getting. “I also ordered from Andromeda, ordered it in March and got it mid April, they also had delays with mine, about 2 weeks delay, they were incredibly nice and responsed immediately but delays might be the norm. Once I got the pc though there were no issues, all the parts were what I ordered, and ready to play as soon as I got it, would recommend but be ready for delays”From thread: Most reliable websites to buy a prebuilt gaming PC in the U.S.? ↗

Common complaints about Andromeda Insights (7)
General comments about the brand that don't name a specific model.
“nice work goign through the rma process its horrible, they made me pay 50 bucks so they could ship me a new box saying i didnt have the orginal packaging to return the product,. Basically i bought a brand new pc and it didnt even last a week it was defective. So not only they messed up now their charing me 50 bucks. I would advise anyone reading this go with another company or a name brand company and just pay the extra 200-300 bucks. Sammy here from new jersey.”From thread: Andromeda insights review ↗
“Boy this company is ROUGH. Run by a bunch of folks who are greedy, childish, and not willing to work. First, I placed an order, normal right? I asked if we could upgrade parts. They said no, we cannot change the current order. We need to cancel it, give you a store credit, and you could rebuy or place a new order if you want. I said okay, I'll just place a second order and cancel the first one please. They said okay... at first. Then they pushed back stating that since the first order was charged, they want to avoid fees and avoid paying $100 in charges, so they wanted to cancel the order for a store credit rather than a refund. They reviewed, saw the second order, and then called me back and said "Sorry you seem to be confused about how store credits work." ... Long story short they're holding onto $5000 of my money and refusing to build or move the order and making me jump through so many hoops I'd rather be dead than get this PC. Avoid this place at all costs honestly. At the minimum, don't buy direct, don't expect a smooth or good experience. I can't imagine how they'll handle an RMA or return should something go wrong.”From thread: Andromeda insights review ↗
“I bought a $2,650 gaming PC from Andromeda on Amazon, and the entire experience was a nightmare. The PC took two weeks to arrive, and when I finally got it, it already had problems — including an issue with the processor not performing correctly. I started a return using Amazon’s official return label and dropped it off at UPS. When the package reached Andromeda’s warehouse, they refused the delivery three times for no reason. UPS kept trying, they kept rejecting it. Because of this, I wasted almost a full month, lost time, missed work, missed a tournament, and dealt with constant stress. Amazon eventually refunded me, but I ended up with no PC and weeks of frustration. If you’re thinking about buying from Andromeda, be careful. My experience was awful from start to finish.”From thread: Anyone have any info on Andromeda Insights Prebuilds? ↗
“My experience with them thus far… ordered pc on the 9th received it on the 19th. Opened it up and the air cooler was bent so bad the fan was nearly touching the ram. I can’t fathom it happened in shipping because the case was full of that expandofoam and was bubble wrapped and double boxed with styrofoam as well. Loads me to believe it was a bent unit out of the box and was installed anyway. Contacted them and they sent me a thermalright aqua elite 360 to swap out for the bent air cooler. I installed the AIO and then opened bios to make sure it was picked up. It was and everything seemed promising. Well the ASRock 9070xt screams with coil whine when trying to play a game if I even can as pc now blue screens anytime you try and play a game. Tried verifying game files and that makes the computer blue screen as well. Went to reboot and do a clean install of windows via usb and now have mother board error LED constant lit for VGA. So now after days of troubleshooting it’s getting shipped back for diag and repair. Their communication / customer service is top notch. The PC I received is garbage. But that could be because UPS ships computers like bowling balls. Just tosses them around the truck like it’s a slab of granite. I will update this as time goes on. The unit I ordered was the AMD Elite Frame 50. MSI am5 b650 gaming plus 2tb ssd 9800x3d 9070xt 850 psu”From thread: Anyone have any info on Andromeda Insights Prebuilds? ↗

Neutral takes about Andromeda Insights (8)

“I had just ordered one through Amazon because my PC died and panicked when I read this. I also cancelled because I thought it was going to arrive alot sooner. They answered me back to see when I needed it by, but had already cancelled and was refunded my full amount of over 2k so idk if this helps anyone but if it was a scam why would they have refunded me? Now I'm getting less for money getting a 7800X3D the one from Andromeda or whatever was offering a 9800X3d for the same price and more storage. It did seem to be alot less expensive then other places and that also scared me. Now I'm getting a Skytech Azure 3 with a 7800X3D and taking the 5070 Ti out and putting in my 5080 and selling the 5070 Ti. I'm hoping the 5080 didn't get messed up when my Acer bricked if not luckily still can return it. Between Windows, Driver issues and etc I'm almost at the point of just going back to the Xbox I'll get used to the crappy upscaling and input lag eventually.”From thread: Anyone have any info on Andromeda Insights Prebuilds? ↗

“I ordered a custom build from them 2 weeks ago. Delivery date is the first week of May. Shipping takes a while doue to the amount of business they get. They are a small business and not a big box retailer. You’re supporting a small local business, offer 2-yr standard warranty, use quality components, excellent customer service, no sales tax.”From thread: Is Andromeda Insights real and legit ↗

“I ordered from andromeda insights on may 11th for a custom build, my estimated shipping date was june 17th. Apparenently theyve had a LOT of orders recently and they also recently went on vacation so they said thered be a 1-2 week delay. I still have not received it and I have contacted customer service on several different occasions and they've replied quickly however they have not given me a new 'final' shipping date and instead have only given rough estimates that have fruitlessly passed by. Although my experience with them has not been great so far and recent reviews of them seem to feel the same I can cut them some slack as the rest of there reviews all praise them and it does just seem like they got a huge backlog of orders. There prices are the best ive personally been able to find, and i cannot attest to the build quality but i can reply back when it arrives if youd like. Otherwise good company bad time to buy.”From thread: Most reliable websites to buy a prebuilt gaming PC in the U.S.? ↗
